Mmmmm... I got a scratch on my hand and it really, really hurts because of my dumb cat. Gato. Yay! Spanish!
I have Cake stuck in my head... How silly of me. Not much has been going on in my little life, but..... wait, I take that back.
I have to be sent off to Las Vegas in a few weeks, then I get back, sent off to Italy to go to an acadamy, then come back, go down to Mt. Hood for a weekend, then go to the Omak. It's great. I thought summer was for chilling, not having to deal with security and such. Oh well.
I HAVE FINISHED THE CASSANDRA TRILOGY!!!
For those that want to read it, I will give you a little piece from each book. So here it goes.
From Tainted Love, Part III Hunt Or Be Hunted, page 21, Chapter 20, Execution Under Extraction
In Violet’s quiet, black world, there was nothing but herself. She felt so alone with feelings of loneliness, but also sorrow, hatred, fear, and angst - all the bad emotions. She was lying helpless and pinned to a vast black earth. She was captive in her mind’s eye, but it didn’t change anything, her heart was still free. The feeling of rain came over her, it was so soothing, but then it was depressing. Her mind was ripped from the silence of her own thoughts and was brought back to reality. Her purple eyes first read the sky, but then looked to Kristopher. Something dropped inside of her body; dropped and shattered.
She could see him beyond Zeo’s protection, her eyes filling with tears, but never crying. It was just too hard to do that now. “Zeo.” She whispered, not able to get her voice much higher through her clenched throat. “Zeo you have to do something.” She said to him, not getting any eye contact with him.
“I can’t.”
“Why, you are a hunter, save him. Save him… please.” She begged him.
“I can’t.”
“Zeo, you know that you can do something.” Tears rolled down her face. “You know that you can do it. Save the person who loves you.”
“I can’t.” He replied.
“Why?”
“He’s already gone.”
Recoil, Part III, Is It Real, page 28, Welcome Home
Back on the island, she looked around silently. Zeo tugged on her arm to come, and she did, following him up the stairs into a great stone building. It looked so grand.
Inside was not. There she was met with the horrid stench of flesh and the glares from wounded vampires. She knew they all wanted to kill her. She didn’t need to be told. So Zeo did tell her. There was many things thrown at her, usually hitting where the thrower intended. It hurt her, but she said nothing of it. The bullets still hurt, but she said nothing of it.
She was brought though the dark hall and to the room Damien was in. She looked at him, emotionless. She sensed he was uneasy about being in the same room with her. “Good evening.” He started. What a gentleman. Not really though. She stared at him. “Anything to eat, darling?” He asked, approaching her. He put a hand on her chin, running his fingers over her broken skin. It was the side with the bullet wound and the X scar. She shook her head a little, looking down.
He continued. “You’ll be taking quarters with Zeo as I have no where else for you.” Great. Just what she needed. She nodded, thanking him.
Stepping out into the hall, she was hissed at almost, but she did nothing back to them, following him up the stairs. He opened the room and led her inside. “Sleep.” He snapped at her. Not arguing with him, she laid down on the bed.
Oooo... you guys get a treat now! Because I am nice enough, I will let you see some of Nightbird, which has never been before touched by human eyes... other then mine. This is like a world premier!! I'm so excited.
Nightbird, Part III, The Things that No One Should Have Done, page 28, Stay True
“It hurts.” Damien finally admitted, the wound had been worsening since the days ago when it was inflicted. Now he had it being poked and prodded, moving the detached bones around in his ribcage. He groaned with the pain, the jagged fragments of bones moving against his firm muscles.
“You should have said something earlier. You’re already bleeding in your lung.”
He shook his head, spitting blood onto the ground. “Just fix it.” He said, and then turning, he yelled. “Boy, get in here!”
A guard pushed the door open to the room and pushed in Andrew, his wrists tied together. He fell to the ground from the push, but got up after a moment. “What do you want with me?” He asked, harsh. He didn’t trust vampires, like most slayers, they were not even willing to speak with a vampire.
“I’ve heard that you spoke with Zeo. Is that true?”
He paused for a moment, looking at him. “No.” He lied.
“Really.” He said, motioning for the five vampires around to aim at him.
“Okay! Okay, I spoke with him.” He admitted.
“What did he say?”
“Nothing.” He said with a long pause after, he kept talking with a look from Damien. “He wanted to know what happened back here, he knew that something was going on.”
“And what did you tell him?”
“I told him that it was just some people that died.”
“Nothing about Siline?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.
“No.” He lied again.
He looked over to a side, having a low toned conversation with someone. “Are you sure you want to say that?” He asked, holding up a piece of paper. It was the transcript of the conversation translated to English.
Andrew narrowed his eyes a little, looking at the paper from afar. “Where did you get that?”
“So you did.” Damien said, reading over the paper. “And you begged him to come back, didn’t you?”
The male kept quiet, looking down. He said nothing of it, letting Damien say more to it. “He’ll be back any day now. We have to be ready for him.” He stood up off the table he was lying on. “Thank you for being bait.” He said, smiling at him as he passed him, walking out of the door. His aura followed him just a step behind. It made Andrew shiver being around a vampire of such power. His heartbeat was heard in his ears, fear.
Hooray! Wasn't that great? If you were confused AT ALL, just ask questions about it and I'll help you in thinking. I'm always good with that.
Well, I'm going to go and do something else now because there is nothing else to do on the internet. Good bye my loves! And if I don't say anything for a little while, don't be afeared, I'm not dead. I'm probably being too lazy.
So long, and have the rest of you day be lovely!
